Rob5060
I have the typical teak / mahogany flooring in my house and in quite a few places there are small gaps between the wooden blocks Is it best to get filler for these or use varnish Cheers
hellohello
Hi, We have 2 houses made of wood {mai deng} I'm not sure what kind of house you have, is it a Thai house up on stilts? Here in our 100+ y/o village there are two ways to fix em - one is to do it like a boat and use cotton rope and glue - the other way is mix saw dust with glue. Many boats builders here, so we just made it like our longtail boat. There is great thread here about local wood, have a look. Know that hardwood , like mai deng as it drys, shrinks. ALOT!
