Buying off plan, do not do it unless you can afford to loose every Baht you put in.

not every project gets completed, now with the problems banks are having even more are likely never to be even started let alone finished.

Some people actually make a good profit by buying off plan and selling when the project is completed, but they take a big risk and that's why they make big profits.

Surely.....you wouldn't be referring to that,uh-hum....project..."LARGE BODY OF WATER UNO" with 60+20+11 floors :D .............

the one initiated by Br_ _ _ Ping_ _,that guy who liked a red horse as a form of transport :D .Aw heck,don't take any notice

of me Mods..I haven't a clue what I'm talking about and what I've written is just a wild random series of words and any

simiarities to actual non-fiction persons or events I can assure you is wholeheartedly accidental.

I did hear of a fantastic and genuinely honest new project coming up soon though called....."PACIFIC NEUNG".....soon to be

followed by "ATLANTIC SINGULAR" beautiful new structures around about 90 stories tall if I'm recalling correctly.Although,I was

talking to these potential developers yesterday(lovely chaps),and their only expressed dilemma was that they had a wonderful

idea of in the future.. setting up a horse-racing team(Red Prancing) and that they didn't have enough money to do BOTH the

Racing Team AND start their building project.I came to the rescue though with a great idea :D .....why not go ahead with the

Building project,get lots of money deposits from it and use the aforementioned $$ to fund the Racing Team and general bourgeois

lifestyle that we all crave :o ........well they thought this was a great idea.....so it will be interesting to see if these guys take

my advice.....none of this has actually happened yet...so again,I apologise profusely indeed to any accidental similarities my

series of events may have to other unrelated events :D

With the fallout rate at present best not to get sucked into the you can save 40% now if you buy this idea(plan ) built later.

I have seen as well as many others in the Pattaya area this buying method is like writing a blank check & your chances of getting burned are great. If you buy an existing condo you can see the actual craftsmanship (or lack of) of the builder. You are also able to ask other tenants what they think of the condo they purchased before making a decision. The salesman is only concerned in getting a yes to get the commission on the sale.

Besides if you buy off a plan & the builder does not know or how to use a t-square or a level I doubt you are going to be to happy & will possibly be stuck with a dog with flees.

On the flip side of the coin...if you are the kind of person that usually wins money at a casino it might work.

Or only deal with developers that will set up an Escrow Account so that you don't lose your money.

What's the biggest and best condo development going on in Pattaya at the moment that anyone can recommend for me to put a deposit on?

I hear that VT7 is going to be a gold mine. You can PM a board member called stopvt7 for unbiased investment advice. :o

and a good lawyer to check it is "Bomb Proof" and not a pretend to be Escrow Account.

And that will only ensure you will get your condo as detailed in the contract, but one thing for sure it will look nothing like the artistic drawings of the developers advertisings when completed.

yes but concerning the best company "we know" you never sure ! for myself i have the condo with them in number 3 ............... but i never receive the tittle ....and the court need more than one year to give conclusion........................

for the bigger one in thailand ............. customer must pay after 20%deposit ............ 60% for 36 month .............................; but nothing move .........if they don't pay they loose everything .................;hope you understand .............................in half words .....................................

if you are interested then i have paid deposit on penthouse suite of new" to be built" very tall tower of a condominium,il let you have it cheap.....less than i paid and il also give you a voucher for bira race circuit to watch some fast cars go around,i believe there are some local sponsored cars racing there sometimes if there engine is fixed!!! :o:D:D
