Trimming Rose Bushes

I'll try since I know very little myself.

There are certain times of the year where trimming is safier for the plant.

In this case the reason for trimming is they will produce more flowers.

In the states they have farmers almanac. It tells you what time of the year to plant and trim for the best results, based on the climate area you live in.

Since there are not four seasons here, I have no idea of when that period of time would be here.

My guess would be during the cold season, but that is just a guess.

Thanks

I have been growing roses in Thailand for a couple of years. I have always trimmed the bushes as the flowers wither, and always trim back to a five leaf point on the stem, all of my bushes have done very well and are loaded with blooms all year.
