freddy
Does anyone have any information on any products one could use to eliminate termites which seem to be eating thier way through a gypsum ceiling. Some kind of powder or smoke bomb? Is there anything available here in LOS.
Heng
Kill the termites -especially their queen- at their source (underground). Depending on your structure, there are a number of ways to do this. We once did this with one building by pouring concrete all around the structure (no dirt exposure to moisture), leaving a few open areas for a few trees, but mainly used as points to regularly pump insecticide into the ground twice a year. If you have any pipes that are leaking, fix those as well... the goal is as little moisture as possible under the structure. Strip out the gypsum and replace it.
