Gents,

I'm working in Indonesia and have been since last year. For Taxation purposes i'm considering becoming a Non-Resident of Australia now. Will this effect my chances of having my Visa approved for a Multi-O based on Marriage to a Thai Citizen when I get to apply for it next R&R?

Also does anyone know the penalties on losing the Australian pension if I go through with it? I've just finished reading a series of pages on the Australian Taxation Website which seems to do circles and explain most things but a few left over... still looking for the form another great Government website.
