Ftse 100 - Time To Invest ?

Featured Replies

Markets are improving dramatically. My family thinks now is the time to invest. I'm not sure, I think it's gambling.

Please discuss !!! :o

Sort of missed the boat mate, you should have been in yesterday !

That says it all, doesn't it? One day later what is a "good investment", no longer is. I'd better look up the definition of investment again.

Prices were marked up at the start of the day so really you would have to have invested on Friday to benefit .

I am thinking that perhaps the banks that Brown has not invested in may have a good advantage in the long run - So perhaps invest in HSBC , Barclays etc ?

Yes you are gambling on the fact that the Government bank bailouts will work with no more bad news around the corner and also that the recession will be mild and short-lived.
