Australians In Thailand Cant Recieve Transfers Over Weekend

The ANZ on its Netbank site is saying that due to currency fluctuations it is suspending transfers over the weekend starting again at start of business monday.

Hope no one has to pay their bar bill.

A point of note ---- actually did transfer some money via the ANZ webb site on Sunday ----

it would have been acted upon Monday I assume--- arrived here Tuesday AM.

As I always transfer A$ ---not Thai Bt ---- this was probably not not involved with the suspension you mention. With the ANZ transferring A$ is always about 2 Bt per A$ better than getting the conversion done by the ANZ.

I realize most would be aware of this----but just in case........
