Another Snake For Your Help To Id

Featured Replies

Howdy,

this snake poked it's head in my wide open kitchen door while i was standing 3ft away looking out!

I thought it was a bigger lizard (yah new guy in town around Thung Song) then i've been seeing, till it left and i peaked around the corner

and saw it slithering away. It was longer then 4+ ft. A local guy said a python but i cant find

a pic that matches. Sorry it's blurry. I had the exposure set for longer from pics the evening before.

The head is at the top of the pic. The back half was a solid color as you can see in the pic and the head was brown/greyish and no bigger then my thumb. Behind the head was yellow with black stripes not sure if they were diamond or horizontal. Anyone have an idea??

Thanks much! Cheers.

No sorry, that was the only pic i got...maybe i was shaking to much hahaha.

A local here told me a young python too so i guess i'm getting a consensus.

Geee, I'd hate to see an adult cause the kid was already 5ft or so!

Cheers.

If that thing was already 5 foot, then it will surely be a python, (Gnu Lam or similar) non venemous, but still pretty vicious and dangerous, they are quite aggressive and can give you a horrible bite! They will attack people with very little provocation, in fact, they enjoy a scrap! Keep well away!
