Tourist, then the lease should help, it gives here a reason to return to LOS. A settlement visa, by this you mean a "Spouse Provisional" I think, that will require her to live in Oz and for more info on this go to the pinned topic immigration links and you'll find a link to get a booklet called "partner migration". that booklet covers just about everything you need to know.
