November 16, 200817 yr This might be a long shot, but I'm looking for Scotchgard™ in BKK. I found the Scotchgard cleaner at HomePro, but not the furniture protector. Carrefour doesn't have it either.
November 16, 200817 yr About a year ago I found the Scotchgard fabric protector at HomePro. The one at Ploenchit. Maybe it comes and goes like so much of their stock.
November 17, 200817 yr Author Thanks. Maybe it comes and goes like so much of their stock. Sigh. I know. It's happened to a number of products that need refilling or such to continue using.
November 17, 200817 yr I bought some from Foodland in Silom Road, (Patpong) about 3 years ago, but have not looked to buy it since.
November 17, 200817 yr Ive seen Scotchguard at my local Tops Supermarket, but im in Chiang Mai. I suggest checking out the section where the shoe polish is at a large Supermarket. Worth a shot.
November 17, 200817 yr Ive seen Scotchguard at my local Tops Supermarket, but im in Chiang Mai. I suggest checking out the section where the shoe polish is at a large Supermarket. Worth a shot. I've also seen it at Tesco Lotus, also Chiangmai. It is expensive, around 350 Baht.
November 17, 200817 yr Author Thanks all. I did go to Tops at Ladprao, but I'll try it again elsewhere (as well as Tesco Lotus, Foodland, and again at a different Home Pro). 350 Baht does sound expensive. But after running around BKK via taxi, when it all shakes out... ah, what I'd give for a delivery service right about now...
November 17, 200817 yr I thought they stopped selling those stuff because of the toxic chemicals found in them. Buyers beware.
November 18, 200817 yr Author First time I heard of it (one of the problems with living away from the west for so long). Google to the rescue... You are right, they discontinued the original product in 2000. But, they have a new product - Scotchgard working out recent stain on its business
