Benefits Of Marriage Visa Vs Business Visa

Recommended Posts

Based on your work it would finish the day you lost your job.

Based on Marriage you would not lose your permission to stay if you lose your job.

If you are now on an extension to stay for 12 months simply apply at immigration to one based on your Marriage near expiry date. Proof of 40,000 Baht a month needed for annual extension.

If you now have a B Visa where you have to do a border run every 90 days change it at Immigration to a Non O and then apply for the annual extension based on Marriage.

Thank you Lite Beer.

I got it for the case I lose my job, the O visa may help.

I do not have to do border runs, so this is out of scope.

Are there any other benefits?

No. If your marriage is solid go with the Non O and extensions based on that.

You can work on a Non O and annual extensions based on your marriage

As I said if you lose your job. No problem.

If your extension is based on your work you have you leave the day your job finishes.
