Are International Mail Deliveries Affected By The Protests?

I haven't found any discussion in regards to this, so I thought I'll start a new thread. I would imagine that international mail, from and to Thailand all goes through Suvanhabhumi airport? And if so, it is affected by these protests as well, right?

I sent a few important letters today and didn't even think about it until now. I'm also expecting internet banking access codes from my bank in my home country which expire after a certain amount of days, so I'm going to get angry if mail deliveries are delayed or stopped completely because of this :o

The village postie recently delivered a letter, which had been posted airmail from the UK, over 9 months earlier.

Given an on-time record like that, how could you possibly tell, whether there is any extra delay due to current-affairs ? :o
