Aluminum Tubes And Welder, Where To Find?

Anyone with info/suggestions for places to buy small quantities of aircraft grade aluminum tubes (6061 T6, etc.) and places capable of welding them (around Bangkok/Hua-Hin)?

Ultralight repairs/custom bicycle frame builders/auto shop?

Good question Mac.

There were a lot of steel fabricators nr Ekkamai stn., on the Southside of Sukhumvit.

Aluminium, not so sure, maybe worth a visit.

Thanks, Gungadin. Will look at that this Sat when I get up that way. All the ones I've seen so far have steel, some aluminum of uncertain grade.

Aluminum would be nice from the weight perspective...but you might end up going with steel just to find someone who can weld it up for you.

There is a construction place in Sattahip, but difficult to find.

Coming from Pattaya on Sukhumvitroad, turn left opposit Toyota Garage.

They make everything you wish, in aluminium, incl welding. The manager is from New-Zealand and about 15 people work there. Nice place, good quality.
