Camry Dvd Player Is Given Problems

Featured Replies

I just received my new 2.4 V Navigator Camry but are not able to play an DVD filled with MP3 music.

In my old Camry i was able to play music CD in which the music was stored in several folders on the CD.

So i could have one cd with several folders for my music.

I looks like that the DVD player in my new car doesn't regonise music folders on the DVD and show the message there is no music files on the DVD.

This looks a little bit strange to me.

Does anybody have the same experience with this ?

Not with DVDs, but when making MP3 CDs to play in our VIOS, they wouldn't play unless the CD was "mastered" or "finalized" when burning. The built-in windows utility doesn't do this, but 3rd party programs like Nero have this option. Maybe you can try it / check it out.

I did burn my music DVD with nero but without results.

Strange that you are not able to use DVD music files while the player supports MP3.

I can't believe this is correct.
