Aircon Unit With Inbuilt Heater

Featured Replies

Winter here in Buriram is cold. The missus has bought a new house and we need an aircon. I suggest we follow the Japanese approach where the aircon units also act as heaters.

Now I haven't looked for these but cannot remember the makes of the ones we had in Japan. Anyone got any ideas or even understand what I am talking about ?

In Europe they are called 'heat-pumps', pump heat out in summer, pump heat in in winter :o

Never seen them here although I've not looked up north where it gets cool enough to need one.

Looked on the Panasonic UK website (to get English) and they had some. Definitely need something here in Buriram as it will apparently get colder next month and we could do with a heater now !
