come on guys, this topic was not for fighting about honda vs tiger. u r writing the same things again n again..

what is the matter?

how about talking about my question at the beginning?

do they still produce honda NSR, or stopped? if yes, how much does a new nsr-150cc cost?

Honda stopped making two strokes around 2002, and replaced them with four stroke CBR and Phantom models. Kawasaki may have sold some two strokes after that, and maybe Yamaha, but not many, I suspect/

@PeaceBlondie,

I see it now, I was always wrong and I revised my ideas about the Thai motorcycle market. I also like to inform that I hear from a close contact that Kawasaki motors will in 2009 reevaluate it market and recalculate it targets, in the current light of automotive sales slowdown, Kawasaki has the idea it cannot finance experimental projects.

You have hardly ever been wrong, Richard, and I am often wrong. You have sometimes relayed a published announcement that Brand H, K, S, T, etc, will release a new model soon, and the manufacturer has delayed the into. That is far more likely now, in this economic major slowdown. GM just delayed its Volt electric car project. You also relay rumours of 2-strokes becoming illegal, but those restrictions keep getting delayed.

surgunn, if you want to buy a 2 stroke, it will be used, but you can probably register it for several years to come.

@Peaceblondie

The two-stroke ruling is not based on a rumors, but to get it done, it needs a government what is longer in office then we experience then last few. Also I cannot remember, I used the word "illegal" but if I did my excuses a two-stroke will never become illegal.

Lets take an example, lets change the owner of a regular four-stroke scooter or bike, you pay I belief 450 Baht to change it from name (I know I can be wrong with this). If you want to change the ownership of a two-stroke motorcycle it needs to be tested, if it has not "too much" exhaust emission. There is not a actual number for the "Too much", what made me say before that it would be impossible to change ownership. Also the 450 Baht is about 22 times higher.
