True Internet Problem in Bangkok

Yesterday my True internet connection (3m down 512 Up) went out and after playing with resetting my True provided 4 port router it started working again but my Vonage telephone is not working well.

I am in the Ramkamhaeng area of Bangkok.

I can call people and I hear them well (inside Thailand + overseas) but they can barely hear me lots of static.

Any thoughts or similar experiences?

If I upgrade to the 5M plan will I get better quality bandwidth or simply a bit faster?

I used to be on Maxnet and as you paid more you shared the connection with less users.
