Langsuan Man
Like most males I am in a quandary as to what to buy the TG for Christmas and since I refuse to buy gold I was thinking about one of these electronic dictionaries (Thai / English) that I see sold at these little kiosks all over the place. Anyone have any experience with them ? and if so any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. LSM
malcolmswaine
Why not get her a phone with Windows Mobile on it, and then load on a Dictionary Package. That way she gets a nice phone and a dictionary.
H2oDunc
I bought one of them in Pantip. An Edict talking dictionary. It does 2 types of Chinese, Japanese, Thai and English. Well worth it. It has come in very handy and Ive lent it to some of the new girls in the bar I drink i and they love it. They can translate and reply to email and SMS using it. And cheaper than a new phone Edited December 19, 2008 by H2oDunc
Digitalbanana
I have a Windows Mobile phone with a Thai dictionary on it and the Mrs opted for a Cyberdict which is much simpler to use, tho an extra piece of hardware to stick in her hand bag!
