Underseas Cables To Europe Damaged

3 out of 4 internet cables between the middle east and Europe have been severed. The three lines accounted for 90% of traffic on that route. The Article says Singapore will be affected, which means Thailand will be affected too.

Which explains why I am seeing very bad speeds to European sites.

It's not in the article, but I would expect some sort of ripple effect on all connections. As traffic to Europe is routed via alternative lines, the alternative lines also clog up. The wonders of the internet!

Fix is targeted for December 31.
