I'm heading to Samui tomorrow to get a 30-day extension for my 60-day TV. I'm reading that the immigration office is in Nathon....does anyone have the exact address? is this the only office on Samui where you can get this done? Also, any idea how long the process takes?

Looks as though I will have to stay there the night (grrr) due to ferry schedules from Koh Tao....any recommendation on a nice, cheap place to stay there close to immigration office?

My visa actually expires today, the 28th...so I will be 1 day over when they open tomorrow...does anyone know whether this will be a big problem?

The Office is about 2 K outside Nathon . Going on the Ring Road anti-clockwise towards Hua Thannon and Lamai.

It is on a crossroads on the right hand side. Get a songteau the driver will know where it is.

With a days overstay they may charge you 500 Baht and also they may only give you a 7 day extension as you are on overstay. It is really up to them. So look smart and smile a lot.

samui immigration will give you a 30 day extension after you paid the overstay fine, don't worry about this.
