January 7, 200917 yr I have seen no posts saying they are needed. The hotel one for sure is not needed. You find the ticket requirement on every embassy/consulate website. The only way to know for sure is to contact them.
January 8, 200917 yr Author Yes, a tourist visa. I am interested in the plane ticket out of Thailand and also the hotel reservation. I can bring my house lease, but they may truely want to see that I stay in a hotel... NON-permanent residency. The ticket: My travel agent can make that for me.

You make a copy of your house lease for them, and on the application form you write as reason for visit 'family visit'. That is it. No problems, no hassle at all. Henri.
January 8, 200917 yr Copy of ID card Copy of residence certificate (Carnet de Residence/ Family Record Book) 6.4 Pensioner must prepare bank statement or pension fund Eljeque Forgot to say that if you apply for a NON-IMM O (family visit), they like to see a copy of the ID-card and Family record book of your wife, and a house lease or rental agreement. Statement from the bank or pension fund, as mentioned in 6.4, are not asked for. Henri

When I apply for a tourist visa I always write “tourism” as the purpose of my visit, even if it is my wife, who usually arrives a couple of weeks before me in Thailand, I am going to stay with. -- Maestro The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
