Yamaha has a one piece racing suit for us to borrow so I will be trying to get my knee down If I can. The bikes are insured so dropping them doesn't seem to be an issue. Any tips on getting knees down travelmate? Get in position before the corner.(keeps the bike stable) hang off the bike a bit. One bum cheek on the saddle the other off. your toes on the pegs. Tuck your outside leg to the bike. let inside leg hang (relax) keep upper torso parallel to the bike. Your upper torso should be free of tension. Your outside leg will have you locked to the bike. So relax and lean bike into corner, grind knee. Rule of thumb: Keep inside elbow below wrist. This will force your head and torso into correct position for cornering. Ideally the mirror will be directly in front of your face during a turn. That basically it. Keep leaning till yer lips are draggin.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even removed stuff like Givi cases on showbikes and so on, everyone was just smile and happy for us to do so. Doesn't sound like the same showroom... (mind you i am a cheap charley) same thing happened to me at Kawasaki. also i wonder if knowing that Kawasaki were bring out the er-6 helped make them better sales people. We spent hours in there just like two kids in a playground and all the staff was laughing there ass off. It's behind Esplanade but dude nobody I heard of has had that kind of problem before, and since they have much more Thai customers than Expats there should be no reason for any difference. There were a couple of Thai customers in there when I went over who also took photos and so on. Maybe you came on a bad hair day? It just makes no sense for them to be that way.....if you were going to be a customer there, you probably would of taken ur business elsewhere. It's walking distance from the Kwacker shop on Rama 9 and I like to go over there while my bike is being serviced. They've always been very friendly, open and approachable. The only details I remember is that it was a man of medium build with darkish skin. I went in there with a mate of mine and we were browsing bikes. I asked him if I could take some photos but he said 'No photo'. Also while asking him questions he came across as being dismissive. He didn't speak English very well (which may well be the root of my bad experience), because when I asked the price of one of the bikes he just handed me the price list instead of telling me But yea... both my friend and I came to the conclusion he wasn't being as service-orientated as he could have been, but we just left it at that. As long as the manager knows I don't think there needs to be any action taken, as it were. I'm just puzzled by your experience vs mine; especially with regards to the photo taking.
