What Other Motorcycle Forums Do You Hang Out At?

Featured Replies

Yes, I know that the Bike forum on Thaivisa is one of the 'lower traffic' forums here...and I know that alot of other people here are interested in motorcycle topics outside of Thailand. So with that said, what other motorcycle forums do you hang out at?

Having a soft spot for rat bikes and streetfighters I tend to read (but not post) over on http://www.customfighters.com/forums/ The build offs make some amazing machines and this kind of bike customising appeals to me so much more than chopper work.

GT-Rider sometimes, read some silly stuff over on stuntlife, thats about it..

http://zx14.net - is my favorite site because of all info at disposal regarding my favorite bike. Other then that, I am at few other USA, Singapore and Malaysian forums.

There's another forum that looks pretty good here: Super Bikes

Quite a number of Thai sites out there as well.

This "bikes" motorcycle forum is the busiest in Thailand, in the English language anyway. Great group of guys who are very knowledgable.

Could anybody post some links to the Thai based forums and bike sites ?

Sorry.. all googled out today.. and just feel like clicking a link instead.. :o

Here's one that looks a blit like an older version of TV: Bikers In Thailand (Thai language)

I hang out in GT Rider Motorcycle Thailand and Bikez. I also still check out the MCN site for news of things to do with bikes back in Blighty. And of course the bike section here on TV :o

GT Rider, a couple of Ducati sites, esp. ducati.ms Not sure if they are technically forums, but crash.net and motogpmatters to keep up with motogp and wsbk news

r1-forum.com

great R1-specific info there

www.TDR.co.uk, great site with lots of info/tips to keep your 20 odd year old stroker going.

I only come here because dotcom & dave_boo enjoy my company so much. :D

Im also neverdie at the ducati forum & neverdie at perthstreetbikes forum. But nothing compares to the TV crew :D

I don't know where you get the idea that TV bike stuff is low volume.....it actually goes right off in here & I agree with dotcom theres so great stuff to be learnt from most of these guys. You would only have to go into the Ninja250 thread & see what those boys talk about, I have learnt quite a bit as well as had a good laugh.

We have a lounge area, second to none & awesome BIKEPORN!

Some of our members are the first blokes onto Ninja 250ies in Thailand not to mention the current er6n's.

Theres the mad & bad assed litre boys, a ducati king, 400cc, 2200cc & just about everything in between....we even have our very own gigolo who not only buys very nice motorcycles BUT gets ladies thrown in for a test ride.....i mean a thrashing. :o

There are hog riders and then there are HOG riders. Our riders stretch from the very most northern parts of thailand to the most very southern parts, including islands, beaches & klongs....some even choose to take on road bikes, off road>>>but thats a whole other story. We have riders from just about every corner of the planet, from Afghanastan to Zimbabwe.

There are also some little bike riders who one day want to grow up and progress off their little 150cc underbones INTO the real stuff....but apprenticeships must be served.

Ohh we even have the fastest Reverend on two wheels. Anyway thats more than enuf from me. :D

i've recently began to ride with devilbike. have you been to any meetings lately?

Hmmmm. Lots of guys. Big bikes. No girls (except that odd picture or reference).

Thank (nice contract) that I'll be home in a week ! Then I'll be able to do more than just look at a pic of my bike (and girl) ! :D

One thing I have noticed regarding some other bike forums is the low traffic. I think that is a problem not just with bike forums, but others as well that have a more specific focus. The nice thing with TV is that you can always bop out and look at some other threads of interest and then pop back here to see what else has transpired in the last 30 seconds. :o

Because, like it or not, deny it all you like, there is just a wee little bit more to life than bikes ! :D

There's also PIZZA !!! (Yes, I am hungry at the moment).

At least here, you can talk about yanking cam shafts and cranks, or about being cranky at cam shafts, and then zip over to the heated debate about whether sauce is a basic ingredient of pizza, or an unnecessary topping ! (OK I have to go eat soon.)

Some times too much of a good thing is a good thing, like extra pepperoni.....never mind............I'll be back !

My long-time favorite bike-related website is Adventure Rider. Lot's of riders there from all around the world ... any many who ride "the long way 'round" too.

Adventure Rider Forum

Superbike-forums and occasionally GT Rider (although its fairly quiet right now).

Tried Adventure Rider but it says the administrator has disabled registrations! Guess I'm too late to the party on that one :o

Hi

Singapore bikes, ADV rider, GT rider, Ducati MS, Ducati Spot, Ducati Up north,Ducati Superbikes, another site I found not sure where I got it from but Ash on Bikes good info on new models write ups etc.

I like TV as its local to Thailand hope to meet up with some of you at the Burapa bike meeting.

Cheers

HH
