Tsunami Aftermath In Satun Province

Hello,

I have not heard much about the extent of damage in Satun province. I have a girlfriend in Bangkok that has family in Satun. I could not contact her (via cell)since the tsunami hit. I am assuming that she went back to Satun to take care of her live-alone mother and other family members. Is there no cellular phone service in this area due to downed telephone lines and satellites? Is there extensive damage to property/houses in this area? What is the estmated death toll? If any one of you have ANY information about the death toll/damage done in that province and the reason I may not be able to contact her, I would greatly appreciate it.
