Theres a little private post office at Lad Prao Carrefour. Its open. But if you post something today it wont get sent till the 4th.

right, I think so too. so i'm goint sent my pics on the 4th.

All government organisations will be shut from 30thDec, until 4th Jan,

as will many shops.

For future reference.

The government PO is open 24/7 at terminal 1 at Don Muang.

I can't recall seeing them closed on holidays before. Even if they're open I don't know how it would affect the sorting and dispatchment of mail over the holiday period. They may very well accept mail and parcels but send them out after the hols.

You could ask at the PO near Nana which I think opens on slightly different hours than elsewhere (but don't quote me on this )

I always use the Postal Service at the Queens Park Hotel, Reception (even though I've never stayed there!) They're always willing to help, once providing me with free packaging for a large item.

Then again, at this time of year there's bound to be delays whereever you go.

What times are post offices in the CBD areas of BKK open until? Is it 8pm?

Also, if sent a large parcel, does the receiver have to collect it from the post office?
