Re-entry Permit

Featured Replies

I want to visit my family in the UK and will get a re-entry permit for my non O visa

but I'm wondering how long I can stay outside of Thailand with this permit. I wanted to

stay in the UK for around 6 weeks?

Thanks

The only limit on how long you stay outside is the expiration date of your current permission to stay. For example, if your permission to stay ends 15 August you can re-enter Thailand before then and you have a reentry permit it gives you that permission. Of course most people would allow time to apply for a NEW extension of stay and arrive back before then.

I am sure that you are talking about your 12 month extension based on Marriage.

You can leave for as long as you want as long as you return before your permision to stay date expires. This will be the same date as your Re Entry Permit expires.
