Does GPRS work well on the Happy prepaid? Where can I buy a GPRS Happy prepaid card? I remember reading somewhere they sell those.

if you are using your mobile to connect to internet through Happy you just need a normal prepaid card. You would also need happy to download the settings for your phone, AIS also do similar service. Price around 110 baht for 20 hours per month. 200 baht for 50 hours no contract and can cancel any time or upgrade hours any time

Presuming that you have two mobiles, call Happy after inserting the sim, on 1678, they will download their software onto your dedicated mobile/modem.

1100bt for unlimited access for 1 month.

Have the prepaid cards ready to quote the serial numbers.

They (Happy) have lower prepaid plans too.

They have a promotion at the moment, 99 baht + VAT for 40 hours of GPRS/EDGE - just cancelled it yesterday with 7 minutes left, and signed up again immediately

I think we should not oversimplify things to the level "having the right to vote is good and the lacking it is bad". Let's consider that the right to vote also entails the responsibility for this vote. Responsibility for one's vote means that people understand politics and take responsibility—themselves (yes, themselves, rather than mindlessly dumping the blame on the authorities)—not only for their actions but also for their inaction. Situations vary. If a society is mature and truly accepts responsibility, then democracy is a viable option. With that in mind, you should be able to calmly accept the fact that the world (including the US) is moving more toward a model of democracy resembling Democratic Korea than the US model.
