Moving Back To Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi there, hope that some of you clever people out there can help me out with this one. We will be moving back to Thailand from the UK at the end of February. I am married to a Thai, we have 2 girls (10 and 4), my wife is not the mother of the eldest. The eldest has a full UK passport but her Thai passport expired a few years back. The mother of the eldest refuses to (wants silly amount of money) sign papers so that my daughter can get a new Thai passport. We have been living back in the UK for the past 6-7 years. What are my options for the eldest in terms of visas/staying in Thailand.

Regards, Stewart

She can enter Thailand on an expired passport. Then try to sort out her passport problem when ypu get here.

Joe's advice is spot on.

Don't forget to import everything in to Thailand in your wife's name. As a Thai national she can import her household goods duty free when returning to Thailand
