hello my names brett from australia i just have some questions if anyone could help us out would much appreciate cannot really find any direct awnsers so struggling to get my head around....

1. i know i can stay 30 days without a visa but what if we want to stay for a further couple of months what is a legal way to go about it and can it be done somehow without a visa??

2.when booking a return flight would it be silly booking for say 3 months after our arrival date would they question this??

3.what is the best priced postal service to send things from thailand??

4.would it be dumb not booking a hotel in bangkok for around april ??

and does anyone know a decent hotel either around sukumvit or khaosan rd for around 700-1000baht which does not charge for lets say some female company? lol

5 finally i will throw in question from left field does anyone know where i can get my hands on golf clubs in or around thailand??

1.Without a visa. You can make border runs and get 15 days every time. Or fly out and back and get 30 days every time. Why not get a tourist visa a single entry would give you 60 days on entry and then you can get a 30 day extension at immigration here. This webpage gives a list of Thai consulates in Australia.

2. If you do not get a visa you will have to show a return or onward ticket within 30 days of your arrival to get on your departure flight. With a visa you don't need to have a return or onward ticket.

3. Thai Post EMS service is probably the least expensive and is reliable.

4. I don't think you would have any problem finding a hotel then. I am sure there are several hotels that meet your requirements. Others may have suggestions or you could check the other forums on Thai Visa for info.

5. Check the golf in Thailand forum for an answer. I think you can even rent them.
