I have just come across this page on the immigration site can you tell me what a visa on arrival is as surely it is different from the Visa waiver when would visa on arrival be required ??

Visa on Arrival Location : The 2 nd floor of Passenger Terminal

Documents Required:

- Passport with validity not less than 6 months

- A full paid ticket which is usable within 15 days since the date of entry

- An Immigration Card (T.M.6) completely filled out in English version

- A recent (4 x 6 cm .) photograph

- Visa on arrival fee 1,000 Baht (Thai currency only)

If you cross the border from Laos over the friendship bridge and get a 15 day visa exception, how long can you extend it out for the 1900bht visit a domestic immigration office?

If I flying into BKK and get a 30day visa execption, how long can that be extended for for 1900bht?

Both 7 days if you have an Air Ticket leaving Thailand within those 7 days.
