January 30, 200917 yr Hello all you experienced & knowledgable TV posters, I have a 1 year non-immigrant B Visa and my 21 year old son has just moved here from abroad to live with the family again. I have a wife with a Non-O and a 13 yr old with a study Visa. He's came in on a 30 day tourist Visa, so the clock is ticking for me to figure out what the most efficient way to get him a 90-day Visa next. Any and all advice would be appreciated! Jeff

Jeff All I can see is a trip to the Thai Consulate in Vientiene Laos and get a Double Entry Tourist Visa. This will give him almost 6 months with extensions and one border run.
January 30, 200917 yr A single entry non immigrant O visa to visit family from most nearby consulates is possible. If more than single entry then it might be difficult. He is one year to old to get a dependent extension from yours. So if he wants to stay longer than 90 days without having to get a new visa a 2 entry tourist visa might be best. He could get it in Vientiane and then extend it for 30 days and then just do a border run to start the next 60 days.
January 30, 200917 yr He can follow a Thai language course and get an educational visa based on that. Would require him to study Thai for 4 hours a week and cost of a course is about 29,000 baht.
