Where To Buy Those Little Stones / Pebbles..

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where in Bangkok you can buy some simple grey pebbles / stones that can be used in a plant pot? They're also often used to fill gaps around paving stones, etc as well..

Thanks for any info :o

PS - I already looked in Jatujak market but was only able to find very expensive stones that were more like jewellery.

Did you look in the market across the street from the weekend market? There is a huge plant market there. Also, there are some big nurseries out on the outer ring road, I recall passing those (and desperately trying to get my husband to stop, but alas, he was on a budget much smaller than the one I wanted to spend :o ). I would think they would have the stones you are looking for.

Yesterday we stopped at a pet store/fish shop. Right out front there were several baskets of different colored stones. They were natural colored and very smooth. That shop in Loei won't help you but you could look for them in tropical fish shops.
