Education Visa

Featured Replies

Hello,

I understand from reading here and elsewhere on the net that you can get a one year education Visa if you study Thai for 200 or so lessons.

Wondering if anyone has gotten a one year education Visa from studyng smething other than Thai and if so what kind of options were open to you?

Thanks

You can get a ED visa and extension of stay for study at any school or university that is registered with the ministry of education. If it is a goverment university it is easier than the others.

You can get ED visa for learning English for example. We offer English courses at our sister school called Callan both in Bangkok and in Pattaya. The location is the same as Walen School of Thai.
