Need Ground Info On Affectl Ocal Communities

Chanced upon this forum and I think some of you may be in the capacity to help.

I am a volunteer assisting Mercy Relief , an NGO in Singapore to do ground situation research work for the tsunami hit areas. They are already sending relief teams out to Sri Lanka and Indonesia.

I have also been tasked to find out about the situation of the local coastal communities that may have been badly affected and require the require the presence of relief and/or medical team. Mercy Relief hope to send a relief team to the areas in need. I have been having diffculties getting information on the situation and needs of these affected communities.

It seems that some of you was there recently. Can someone kindly provide some information?
