February 4, 200917 yr Yesterday I received an e-mail for the US embassy/state department entitled Thailand specific country information. In that e-mail they included the change that you only get 15 days when making land border crossings without a visa. They did say that you would get 30 days when making the land border crossing from Malaysia without a visa. They also stated that the 90 days in 6 months without a visa was in effect. Past posts on the forum indicate that the 90 days in 6 months went away. Is the embassy information wrong on the 90 day issue? Also what about the 30 days when making the land border crossing with Malaysia without a visa? Thanks Melmark
February 4, 200917 yr The 90 day rule no longer exists. However they make a mistake regarding the Malaysian border crossing. It is 15 days at all land crossings, but Malaysians get 30 days.
February 4, 200917 yr Author Thanks Mario2008 I thought that was the case but just wanted to check to make sure. Melmark
