Normally Thai nationals receive a 90 day VISA on arrival but lately due to many Thais (and other nationalities) over staying it's getting more difficult. But if your Thai GF arrives with you, than it shouldn't be a problem. My Thai GF visited me 3 times while I was stationed in Korea. The 1st time they interviewed her for 3 hours!! She was 18 y/o at the time and traveling alone.

As the above poster stated it is getting harder for Thais to go there. Many go there for a 'holiday' but fully intend to work illegally for years on end. Sometimes a male traveler will 'accompany' a female traveler and the male traveler returns without the female if you get what I am saying. So, with that , keep in mind that you may get quite an interegation if something doesn't look right to them.
