Has anyone been to the London Thai Embassy for a 60 or 90 day visa, and received it there and then? If so, did you turn up early and how long was the process.

I would like to just turn up there, pay the fee, and walk out, with a visa.

Also, what documents do I need, other than my Passport and a couple of passport size photos.

even for the tourist visa it's 3 days waiting - unless in emergency.

just before xmass the que was 10 minutes on one day and another day 45 minutes.

The London Embassy didn't have a good name and wasn't considered particularly user friendly.

A popular option in my days was to stick it in the post to Hull, they turn it round the same day http://www.thaiconsul-uk.com/

I used to live a bus ride away from said embassy and (I believe correctly) used Hull Consolate reg mail service. All done and dusted within a week with no hasstle at all.

I recomend you do same.
