I am not quite sure about your question as you said that you have bought a condo: if that is so then you should already be holding the title deed (when you went to the land department to officialise the transfer)

In the case that hasn't been done yet that mens you will go there (by yourself with the former owner) and you will be asked to produce your passport (whether you are resident or a tourist does not affect the issuance of the title deed in your name)

Personnaly I had my name, and all informations needed such as the name of my parents, date of birth an address, to thai language (this does not have to be official: it is just to help the officer in chrage to write them down correctly, although I am not sure whether it has to be written in Thai or could be done so in English

I've done transfer at the Land Dept office six times for purchase of condo in Bangkok, and my passport has never had a visa in it; only the visa exempt stamp for permission to stay in Thailand until xxx date. Don't know what would happen if you've overstayed your permitted date of stay, though, whether the Land Dept office would object to do the transfer or not. But you better bring along a trusted ally who speaks and reads Thai to help you when you go to the LD office, and bring sufficient cash or funds to pay the tax and fees due upon transfer.
