I've had some land for sale in the village for a while now and today someone bobbed up with the cash and wanted to buy a piece of it.

Just as I was about to order the champagne it turns out the prospective buyer is Lisu and can't buy land in the village.

BUT... her boyfriend is Bangkok Chinese and he MAY be able to swing the deal. :o

I already had ample beer in the house when I gave up drinking but my Thai relatives decided to drink it so it wouldn't lead me back into my evil ways.
