How Can I Get 5 Months Visa (without Non-immigrant Visa)

Featured Replies

I have been in Thailand since June 2008. I spent my first 3 months here on the free-visa-on-entries. I have maybe 2 days left of my 90. I then was issued a work permit in September - unfortuantely - the work permit is going to be terminated and with it my one-year non-immigrant visa.

Do I have another round of 90 days available to me? What sort of tourist visas exist?

Basically - How can I stay in Thailand for 5 months - given my visa background.

Thank you!

If you have an extension from Immigration this will finish when your job finishes.

If you have a Multi Non Imm Visa it is still valid until the expiry date. You do not say.

If you have to leave you can get a Double Entry Tourist Visa from Vientienne Laos. This will give you almost 6 months with extensions and a border run in the middle.

This rule is gone, but be advised that they only give 15 days at land borders now.
