Monthly Magazines Shipped To Thailand From Us?

Featured Replies

I am currently considering buying subscriptions for several magazines that will then be delivered to me by the publisher every month.

Does anyone do this at the moment?

What are the chances of them disappearing or getting lost? (they are pretty much worthless unless you want to read them of course)

Any chance they would get held up by customs or that I would have that ridiculous 30% import tax slapped on them?

Thanks!

I have a magazine delivered from the UK every month. There has not been a single missing issue. Mind you, it takes a while to get here...

Hope you're not paying international airmail postage for this, expensive! Snail mail, surface, not so bad but 6-10 weeks for delivery.

One good alternative if you have someone in the U.S. to receive the magazines who can remail for you is the U.S. Postal Service "Priority Mail International" FLAT RATE ENVELOPE

http://www.usps.com/international/priority...ternational.htm

Priority Mail Flat-Rate Envelope (up to 4 pounds) $10.95 $12.95 12-1/2'' x 9-1/2''

These normally (99%) arrive via airmail, 6-9 days after mailing they're here. Good deal. Got one on the way now from my sister in Oregon.

I have a weekly from UK

Only problem is length of delivery - from 6 to 14 days.
