Eu retirement visa expires august when I hope be overseas

My wife asked if I can renew now have all papers and cash in bank

Local off duty v slack officer said too early he also said couldnt get original in Siam go OZ but I manged with advice here to get it in M Sai

Well its my visa and would be canceled if i popped over Mekong b4 breakfast

However for obvious reasons having had a continuous NON 0 for 2 yrs would like to remain unbroken and not have to start all this rigmarole

To complicate matters

minded to ask on grounds of marriage with 400k ( no longer have SCB proof of import 2 yrs ago guess I could get a letter if required)

Basically wish to know if I could renew with 3 months (plus a few spare days to cover hols and bank transfer delays) left

This has following apparent advantages I will be happy to be corrected?

1 It's done I can book airline tickets earlier at better deals and grandfathered earlier in case of hike.

2 If for any reason marriage ext declined I have time to import cash to season for 3 months

3 It will be a better time of yr for annual renewals

Normaly an extension has to be applied for in the last 30 days of your permission to stay. However most offices are willing to extend earlier if there is a reason why you will have to extend early.

Pattaya openly invites retirement extenders to come in as early as THREE MONTHS before current extension expiry. No special reason or proof of air travel required.
