Just received an email from Netflights and EVA have direct flights for under £500 INC tax etc for selected dates from March to June. There are limited dates but it is worth checking out.

Just did a search for 2 weeks in June and it came back with 412.50

There are cheaper flights with Eva Airways than this.

I booked a few days ago for £421 with Opodo LHR-BKK return. As you say limited dates and nothing in the school holiday season.
