As for your comment about businesses being more flexible in real life, I would disagree, it is more a case of not wanting to confront the person. As a person who lives here I know reading a Thai persons thoughts compared to what they say is an art and a tourist may not have that skill. -

Visa run to Laos, always fine? No problem with TDAC
My last visa run was in august 2024. Then I left Thailand in September and came back in February 2025 with a visa.
