Stingray Skin Wallets

Featured Replies

I was thinking about taking some of the Stingray Skin wallets you see around back to the UK as gifts for friends, but I am not sure if they will be allowed through or not.

I looked at the LHR website and while mentioning some animal products, it wasn't very specific.

Anybody have any idea?

Over he years I have brought some back and handbags (not bulk purchases) never had a problem, nevr been stopped at LHR though.

Duplicate thread.

Stingrays are not an endangered species and the by-products of these are not on any banned lists.

On a personal note, the wife has exported the whole skins to the UK and the USA for several years. Never any problems.......only with the amount of duty payable. :o
