Good luck Wonderful news Marcjaiyenyen From my experience, that's right, use VisaEnquiries email address and include your APET number and the Fax ending in 9259. Phone, can't comment never got through, my conversation mediated via VFS person between ECO and I. If you have a reference number ( i.e not the APET number) then make sure you use it. We applied for a settlement visa on 5/5 and have heard nothing since but from what you guys say I can see that that is not a surprise. I have left Thailand to get a job in the UK got four months of salary and then we applied. We got married in Jan and have been together for nearly 4 years. I have been apart from my wife for over 7 months going back for the wedding and three weeks ago for a week because its so hard to be apart. When I lived in Bangkok I was a pub manager and I met a few people including a lot of the embassy lot, some of which could not pay there bill a couple of times. Anyway on my return a couple of weeks ago I called in all the favours I could to see where our application was to absolutely no avail. All I could find out was the switch over to online applications and a change in student visa rules has led to long delays. Anyway I just wanted to have a rant because it sucks having to wait so long and they make us feel like second class citizens having to wait so long to allow our wives or husbands into the country. An Italian friend of mine got his in 5 days she can go to Italy unconditionally. Of course if she screws up in Italy she gets kicked out.
