not sure I understood your question, if you mean send SMS message, and recieve it also, then there is some few solutions who exist , but like you sound not like a GEEK (computer addict), I would like to advise you to use ICQ.

Password is not required but the recipient must activate their phone one time by calling *931   (star 931)

If they can't understand the Thai language message, they can send a blank text message to 900931, in the place of calling *931.

If they wish to have a password or PIN number, this can be entered in the (registering) text message. ie 9876

Of course, if the mobile number you are sending to is not on the AIS/One2Call network, you will need another solution.

I use SMS to my cell phone in order notify me of new incoming email messages. Before DTAC started using Captcha's on their website there was easy but now whilst I can still use DTAC's website to send SMS to a cell phone I cannot do it in an automated way.

Right now in my case, I'm just forwarding the email without body to Hotmail and using Hotmail alerts to my cell phone instead to let me know when new email has arrived.

It's better than nothing but it's not how I'd like it to work here.

I was told by AIS that I will be charged 1 baht per SMS that I send via their web site. ie. receiver of the message pays.
