I Am A Bit Puzzled

Seems an old devil has awakened and wants me to understand some things but I am puzzled and cannot get a reply to any questions regarding this when I sms back.

I'll quote part of a long sms I got today. I am puzzled by the idea it seems to give that a Thai man will give money / love or whatever and want nothing in return. And if they go back (where? - presumably if the man leaves the relationship) they do not want a profit.

I would have thought that if a Thai man gives a lady love, he will want love in return? Unless he is an unfeeling robot.

If a Thai man gives money he will also want something in return, be it care and attention, someone to cook and clean or whatever.

I cannot see a Thai lady ever giving a Thai man 'profit' on his investment of love and money or expect one unless in business together.

Am I reading this wrong? Or are Thai men really like this?

It will help the barstool detectives if you provide some context such as whether or not you know who sent it or if it was generated from the fortune teller line. If this was sent by someone in the flesh trade, a purveyor of lustful carnal delights, then the meaning would be clear. If it was sent by your banker, I'd suggest you get your money the hel_l out of his or her bank.

I got an SMS yesterday that said

"red/black"

That was it.... it took me a while to realize my assistant, who I would reall like to see "in black" was wondering if I wanted a cola slurpy or the red slurpy at 7/11

I have been back to my old drinking haunts. Last night asked by the staff to take a lady home who had been left without a lift home. Nothing happened. Not my type. But you know what the jungle drums are like. Today got the sms with a lot more added. But I feel it is re: my refusal to cough up 20k per month (as a Thai would??? LOL).

But if I read it right then it says that a Thai man gives and does not want anything in return. Either I understand Thai people less than I thought or ......

I take it you dont live in On Nut, or are unfamiliar with certain apartment blocks like the one beside Fortune Town or Nasa Vegas.

These apartments are full of young cuties living in 5000 baht per month condos and handouts of 10,000 baht per month and up, basically mia nois for the more benevolent Thai men.

The average Thai man is smarter than his farang counterpart, he doesnt make the mistake of moving his latest bit of fluff in with him, if it goes pear shaped he just walks away, unlike your average farang who will be lumbered with a wailing banshee threatening all sorts and demanding money etc etc.
