Simple Display For Very Slow Connection Wireless

Featured Replies

Hello

I am wondering if there is a less busy web page set up i can access.

When i am up country i use my mobile phone as a modem to connect to the internet.

However due to the amount of adds and popups from this site it is very slow or wont work at all most times.

Two years ago i had a very simple index of topics with out the junk.

A while ago my hard drive crashed and i lost all my stuff with no back up and i dont seem to be able to find the page i was using.

Any advice please.

I believe if you use Firefox with the ad-ban add on it stops all ads etc. Also I think you can select text only for IE or other browsers so you do not get the videos. Hope this helps :o

I stopped using FF a while ago. I just looked at IE and start with out add ons. No different.

i was hoping i could make changes in my "settings" in this forum.

I find the adds very off putting.

Mac Fan Im sure you can opt for the text only in IE. I think you have to go into internet settings and advanced then tick the text only box. You will still get the ads load though so maybe FF would be better for you. I got an air card last time in BKK for went the BB goes down. Uses the Edge network on AIS.30 hours for 100 baht and the speed is quite good :o
