Copperheaded Racer or Radiated Ratsnake (Elaphe radiata or Coelognathus radiata) One Thai name for this is ngu sa - not a risk to humans as they need to get a good chew on to do any harm. Not sure of the risk to a cat - (s)he can probably take care of herself.

Cats (and mongoose of course) are natural enemies of snakes, so yep, the snake is probably in more danger then the cat :o
